Bringing the familiar interface into focus

Retail-style menus, live text and status-icon help are coming together. The next pass is about fit, readability and feel.

What changed

The live interface now uses a qualified retail font, with fallback characters where needed. The main menu, status and abilities screens have been captured in engine. Status-icon selection and help have been refined, and log settings are checked after saving and loading.

What it means for players

The goal is an interface that feels familiar at a glance and responds predictably as you move between windows. Keeping settings between sessions is part of that foundation.

What still needs work

The current captures come from controlled test scenes. Text alignment, resizing, long chat lines and fallback characters still need refinement. These checks do not establish that every submenu or physical keyboard and controller interaction matches retail.

What’s next

Resolve the review findings, compare the screens at different sizes, and test the complete menu and chat flow during normal play.
