Tracing a gap in Ronfaure’s river

A small missing piece of original geometry explains two failed contact checks. A staged repair is helping me separate appearance from gameplay.

What changed

I traced two missing river triangles to the way the East and West Ronfaure imports divide their shared edge. Restoring them in an isolated candidate changed both tested locations from a missed contact to a detected surface. The active world has not been replaced by this candidate.

What it means for players

Finding the cause lets me repair the import carefully and preserve the surrounding scenery. A visible river and a safe route through the surrounding land need different checks.

What still needs work

The original data identifies this surface as deep water. A collision hit is not permission for characters or monsters to stand on it. The candidate still needs an appearance comparison and a gameplay check that respects the water’s intended behavior.

What’s next

Compare the original and restored scenery without adding a walkable water surface, then check the nearby movement and placement rules before considering a world update.
