What changed
I have been comparing the ground shown on screen with the surfaces used for movement and collision. Recent checks helped narrow down a contact problem in the current world prototype.
What it means for players
A familiar-looking area needs to feel right to walk through, too. This work helps me find places where a character could float, catch on the ground, or meet a surface that does not match the scenery.
What still needs work
The contact problem is not fixed yet. Walking across connected areas and testing the packaged game remain separate steps.
What’s next
Check the problem surface in the world, confirm its collision, and test movement across the affected boundaries.
