Everything you need
The official Square Enix installer supplies the game, PlayOnline Viewer, and its offered DirectX component. The KrispyXI Launcher adds the private-server connection and compatibility layer when it becomes available.
Square Enix provides the complete client as five files. Keep them in the same folder, run part 1 to extract, then run FFXISetup.exe and select every component on a first install.
The launcher will create the correct connection profile, verify compatibility, show version information, and start the game without manual configuration edits.
Never enter your Square Enix password into the KrispyXI website or launcher. KrispyXI player accounts use their own credentials.
The complete setup
Follow this order so the official client is fully installed and updated before the KrispyXI connection profile is added.
Download all five official Windows client files into one folder, extract part 1, and install every component.
Open PlayOnline Viewer once and allow the game data to finish updating before adding a private-server profile.
Download the launcher from this website when it becomes available. It will prepare and verify the KrispyXI connection profile.
Create an account when registration is available. Your KrispyXI login must be separate from Square Enix credentials.
Create your character, enter the world, type !hub, and follow the Expedition Guide's short onboarding route.
Once you are inside
New characters receive the travel and storage foundation needed to start playing, without skipping missions or granting finished endgame equipment.
